"Back From The Dead"

This thunderbird is truly on its way back from the dead. It is currently being restored. It was purchased at the Charlotte, N.C. auto fair. It was full of bondo. Someone attempted, and I mean truly attempted a restoration on it at some point in its history. They used tar, pop rivets, and tons of bondo. They even used wood in places under the bondo. Wood!! What was this person thinking while attempting to restore this car.

All bondo was taken out and replaced with metal. We found another tinted windshield to replace this one.

Rust in the frame was replaced. Now, the frame is like new.

We decided not to go with the original 312 engine but replace it with a 302.

No more wood or bondo now!! As of February 6, 2008 this is the status of this Tbird. I will be adding more photos.
